GilgitApp is an emerging tech startup built by Software Engineers of Gilgit-Baltistan. This App aims to provide an easy to use online platform for buying and selling. Through this platform, the team is looking forward to bringing a technology-driven economic change to GB. Moreover, they also aim to make a real impact in the IT sector.
The founder and CEO, Mr. Ejaz Karim, says, “As I see, there are many different apps in other cities, but we do not have any platform here in GB. However, our people are not different from others, and we want to facilitate them by providing such platforms. Through GilgitApp, we look forward to making a huge impact in the IT sector of GB. Moreover, the app will uplift the economic situation of the region”.
GilgitApp was released in March 2020 to provide the Covid-19 details from the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Due to the huge response of the people of GB, the team added more features for buying and selling, including Vehicles, Bikes, Laptops, Mobiles, Property, and even Pets.
With more than 12 thousand downloads, the app is becoming a marketplace for the people of GB. It is already making an impact by helping many people to buy and sell their items from home.
Today the app is used by a large number of people here in GB on a daily basis. It helps users in buying and selling different products online. The team is looking forward to launching the app in other cities of Pakistan to promote the IT sector of the region.
